PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE - 7/1/06
from Kevin, Please pray for Leslie and Grady for the lose of their baby. Leslie was full term and was going to be induced this coming week. It was a little boy and was going to be named Braden Jax. Kevin writes; Please be praying for the Burkhalter family in the next few hours, and the Lord will pour out His grace and mercy on them in the days and weeks to come.
from Emily, she asks for prayer for her friend Nancy. Nancy's boyfriend of 23 years suffered a heart attack. Nancy is going through a lot of family issues because she and Charlie are not married.

My Aunt June (almost 80 years old) is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. She and my Uncle Jim has been like Mom & Dad to my brother, sister and I since the passing of our parents, so they are very important to us! Please be praying for her health and strength!
Also, I had a job interview for a really awesome job!!! Please pray that if this is the Lord's will that He will swing the doors wide open so there is not doubt!

from John and Jeff - John's brother Bill was in a very serious accident and has been life flighted to the hospital.
-Jamies father is in the hospital, he has been put on a vent and is in poor condition. Jamie is asking that we pray for peace as her brother has shown up to the hospital drunk and much conflict is in the family already. Her sister is trying to hang onto 6 her 6 months of sobriety...
-Donna's step mother Johnnie has been told the chemo hasn't helped the cancer and she is being sent home with hospice... Prayer for Rita too as the dog is about to have pups.
-Keep Roxanne and Jeri in prayer for health and travel.
-Doug in the loss of his brother and as he continues to care for his father.
-Connie in the death of her uncle.
-Special praises to all who make Bible study such a wonderful time.

I just returned from Dallas, TX where I scheduled to give a concert over the weekend but, the concert was canceled due to severe flooding. I'm asking for prayers for everyone in Dallas who has been affected by this. Last I heard on the news atleast one person has died. I pray that everyone is safe.

I just wanted to let you know that my grandfather, Robert Lockwood, passed away on Monday. If you would keep my family in your prayers. We are all having a very tough time right now.

Please keep my friend Bob and his family in your prayers. Bob's mother (Lois) passed away a few days ago. She and the family had been through a lot. The past year and a half she had been hospitalized 7 times, struggling with congestive heart failure, a broken hip, and open heart surgery. Bob wrote "I will remember her courage through all the medical procedures. She was a strong, loving, self-sacrificing woman and she held on to life as long as she could. Despite how uncomfortable many procedures were, she didn't complain right up through the end."
-A few weeks ago my parents were in a car accident. Five or six cars were involved and they were right in the middle. Amazingly, no one was injured in this accident. All cars were totaled but, by the grace of God every person involved walked away. My parents said their necks hurt for a few days but, their fine now.
